Proxy setup for Mango Proxy in the Waterfox browser​

In this guide we look at how to connect a Mango Proxy proxy in the Waterfox browser.
Before starting, make sure you have already created a proxy in your Mango Proxy account. If you don’t know how to do this, see the basic instruction for creating a proxy in Mango Proxy.

1. Open the browser settings​

  1. Launch Waterfox.
  2. Go to the Settings menu.
  3. In the left panel select the General section.

2. Go to the network settings​

  1. Scroll down to the Network Settings block.
  2. Click the Settings… button.

3. Choose how to configure the proxy​

  1. In the Connection settings window set the toggle to Manual proxy configuration.
  2. Enter the data obtained from Mango Proxy:
    • HTTP proxy: login:password@p2.mangoproxy.com
    • Port: 2333
  3. Tick Also use this proxy for HTTPS.
  4. If necessary, you can specify a SOCKS 5 proxy if you are using one.
  5. Click OK to save.

4. Verify the connection​

To check your IP address:

  • Visit 2ip.ru or whoer.net.
  • Make sure the IP corresponds to the geo‑location you selected in Mango Proxy.
